A Letter to the Commander-in-Chief

Here is a portion of a letter that was written by the chief captain of a country's army to his commander-in-chief or the president:

"...we desire to know the cause of this exceedingly great neglect and to know the cause of your thoughtless state. I fear exceedingly that the judgements of God will come upon this people, because of their exceeding slothfulness, and the slothfulness of our government.

...Do you suppose that God will look upon you as guiltless while you sit still and behold these things? No....remember that God has said that the inward vessel (even the great head of our government) shall be cleansed first, and then shall the outer vessel be cleansed also.

...I am Moroni...I seek not for power, but to pull it down. I seek not for honor of the world, but for the glory of my God and the freedom and welfare of my country!"

This was written about 62 BC in ancient America. Moroni quickly learned that his commander-in-chief had not been a traitor or slothful, but had been kicked out by men who wanted a KING. In fact they were called king-men and was doing everything they could to destroy the freedom and liberty of the people so they could have power.

This is what we are facing today in America. It is critical that we vote out all those in leadership positions who are wanting a "king" and seeking for power over the people instead of our constituitional republic.

We must begin by cleaning our OWN inner vessels by repenting and become a holy people and then clean the inner vessels of our nation, states and cities by voting for those who will stand up for freedom and liberty.
